The short version

LeaveOneLightOn.org currently uses clean, non-commission Amazon product links for the movement’s own books. The book covers may link directly to a purchase page for convenience, but those movement-site links do not use Amazon Associates tracking.

Separate book property

The separate book website, TheLightintheWindowBook.com, is a commercial book property and may use Amazon Associates links. Any commission-eligible link there is disclosed on that site rather than presented as part of the movement’s mission pages.

How recommendations are chosen

Editorial fit, usefulness, accuracy, dignity, accessibility, audience need, and stewardship come first. Financial relationships do not determine inclusion, praise, placement, or silence.

If affiliate links are ever used here

If LeaveOneLightOn.org activates any commission-eligible link in the future, the relationship must be clearly disclosed near the link and reflected in this policy before publication.

Amazon and InkFluence

Amazon Associates tracking is not active on LeaveOneLightOn.org for the movement’s own books. Clean InkFluence publisher links are present, but InkFluence commission tracking remains disabled unless exact terms and the intended relationship are independently reviewed.

Click measurement and privacy

We count aggregate resource-link clicks to understand whether visitors can find useful next steps. The proposed event does not require a name, email address, donation amount, precise location, or sensitive child-welfare information. Do not deploy tracking until it has passed the site’s privacy and consent review.
